Kim Fahey, MSPT Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Kim graduated with her Masters of Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in 2001. She has focused on Pediatrics since graduation and has been an invaluable member of the Kids Care team since 2005. Kim specializes in the treatment of Torticollis and other early developmental delays in infants. Kim also serves on the Medical Advisory Panel for the Dake Foundation for Children, working to reach more families with equipment grants that bring a sense of fun and community into their lives. Having spent time as a school based therapist, Kim brings her comprehensive knowledge of treatments of developmental delays in preschoolers and school-aged children to the clinic setting.

Alyssa Knotek, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
A Saratoga Springs native, Alyssa spent her undergraduate years at UAlbany. She then spent her next 3 years at Sage Graduate School, receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in spring of 2020. While in school, she completed a clinical rotation at Kids Care, falling in love with pediatrics. She now spends her time at the Latham clinic working with both adults and children. She enjoys working with post-surgical repairs including ACL's, meniscus, and total joint replacements. She also enjoys working with children with gross motor delays and musculoskeletal impairments. In her free time, she spends her weekends working at the Streaking Moose BBQ, her husband’s restaurant in Queensbury, and with her golden retriever, Oakley.

Sydney Connolly, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Sydney graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in 2021. Sydney has always had a passion for working with the pediatric population. She completed a clinical rotation at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee where she worked with a variety of pediatric diagnoses. She spent her summers teaching swim lessons to children and lifeguarding. Sydney is excited to be working with the pediatric population and a part of the Kids Care team.

Maria Commisso, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Maria graduated from Ithaca College with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 after receiving her B.S. in Clinical Health Studies in 2017. She then worked at an outpatient orthopedic clinic near Boston, MA for 3 years. When living in Massachusetts, she enjoyed going to Red Sox games and attending a variety of concerts. Maria recently returned to New York State to be closer to her family and is excited to work with both the pediatric and adult population in Latham. When she's not at work, Maria enjoys spending time outside, finding local coffee shops, and learning new board games.

Josh LoGiudice, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Josh graduated with his B.A. in Human Biology from SUNY Albany and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in December 2023 from Florida Southern College. Josh completed a clinical rotation with Thomas Nicolla Physical Therapy in 2023 and joined our team immediately after. Josh is passionate about working with both pediatric and orthopedic/sports population and finds his knowledge of each compliment the other. When Josh is not working, he enjoys any sports, coffee shops and spending time with his family and friends.

Cassy Stier, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Cassy Stier is a passionate physical therapist dedicated to improving the lives of children through specialized care and rehabilitation. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in 2024, where she developed a keen interest in pediatric rehabilitation. Cassy has experience working with children with developmental delays and neuromuscular disorders within her pediatric clinical rotation at Guilderland School District. Her approach blends evidence-based practice with compassionate care, ensuring each child receives tailored treatment to reach their full potential. During her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and reading.

Danielle Spooner, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Danielle has always been passionate about health and wellness. She earned her B.S. in Health Science with a minor in Sociology from the University of Hartford, which laid the foundation for her future career. In 2024, she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Russell Sage College, where she honed her skills during her final clinical rotation at a pediatric clinic in Clifton Park, gaining invaluable experience with children of various ages and diagnoses. Danielle's interest in physical therapy was sparked during a summer spent shadowing pediatric PTs at a school for children with disabilities in Harlem. This transformative experience fueled her dedication to helping others achieve their best physical health. When she’s not in the clinic, Danielle enjoys traveling to her favorite destinations, including Barbados, Aruba, Costa Rica, and Grenada. She also cherishes quality time with family and friends, as well as indulging in her love for reading and listening to music.

Alexa LaGrande, MS, OTR/L Occupational Therapist
Alexa graduated from Utica College with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2021. She is certified in DIR/Floortime and utilizes a strengths-based approach while working with children of all ages with varying support needs. Alexa is committed to providing compassionate client-centered care using trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming principles. Some of her strengths include family advocacy, durable medical equipment, assistive technology, feeding, sensory and emotional regulation, and motor function. When Alexa is not at work, she is gardening or hanging out at the farm with her llama Bodhi.

Julia Ashley, MS, OTR/L Occupational Therapist
Julia graduated from Oneonta State College with a bachelor's of Biology in 2020 and went on to pursue her master’s degree in occupational therapy at Russell Sage College. Julia has always been passionate about working with the pediatric population and spent her college breaks as a substitute teacher for Troy CSD. In Julia’s previous role as a school-based OT, she focused on helping children become more independent by implementing strategies to promote sensory integration, motor coordination, and self-regulation. With a strong belief in the importance of play in therapy, Julia integrates enjoyable and functional activities into sessions to foster skill development and build confidence. Outside of work, Julia enjoys trying new restaurants, reading books and spending time with friends and family.

Courtney Tefft, MS, OTR/L Occupational Therapist
Courtney received her M.S. in Occupational Therapy at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY in 2023. She has clinical experience working with children with developmental and motor delays, sensory processing and self-regulation difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and neurological disorders. Her strengths lie in establishing rapport with her clients, parent and caregiver education, and individualizing treatment plans for holistic, client-centered care. Courtney utilizes a neurodiversity affirming, child-led play approach with a goal of helping her clients meet their maximum potential. When she is not working, Courtney enjoys spending time outside with her family, friends, and dog, Ozzy.

Stephanie Nicolla Patient Care Coordinator
Stephanie has worked throughout Nicolla Physical Therapy for the past 7 years including the Latham and Washington Avenue offices. She has a special passion for working with children which is evident in her role as Patient Care Coordinator of Kids Care. When not at work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughter Lydia.

Meghan Koetzner Patient Care Coordinator
Meghan has been a part of the Kids Care and Thomas Nicolla PT family since 2017. She uses her background in hospitality and love for customer service to her roll. Her favorite part of her position is seeing the progress our patients make throughout their time at PT and OT. When not at work you can find her showing houses as a licensed real estate salesperson, or traveling and spending time with her husband and dog, Rocco.
