Physical Therapy Staff

  • Leah Klein PT, DPT Physical Therapist, Clinic Supervisor

    Leah graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2014 from Sage Graduate School. After graduation, Leah moved to Florida working in both an outpatient orthopedic clinic and with the pediatric population in a school setting . While in Florida, Leah worked with Crossfit athletes focusing on education on injury prevention and body mechanics. As a former soccer Division 1 college student-athlete, Leah as a passion for treating all orthopedic and sports conditions.

    In addition to pediatrics and athletes, she likes treating all populations from geriatrics to post surgical patients.

    Leah completed a clinical rotation with Thomas Nicolla Physical Therapy in 2013 and when she returned to the area in September 2019, she joined our team in the outpatient orthopedic clinic in Latham. As a Clifton Park native, Leah is looking forward to being back in the area and is proud to be providing her expertise to the Capital Region. Outside of the clinic, Leah loves being active and spending time with her family and friends.

  • ​Aimée Croteau PT, DPT ​Physical Therapist, Clinic Supervisor

    Aimée attended Ithaca College where she received her B.A. in Clinical Health Studies with a minor in Nutrition Promotion. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in August 2020. During her time at Ithaca, Aimée gained experience working with patient of various ages and diagnoses. Aimée became interested in becoming a physical therapist after a softball related injury in high school. When not treating, Aimée enjoys spending time with family, hiking and playing coed softball.

    Aimée is originally from Massachusetts. She moved to the Capital Region and joined the Thomas Nicolla Physical Therapy team in January 2021, working at the outpatient orthopedic clinic in Latham and St. Margaret’s Center in Albany.

  • Kim Teter, MSPT Senior Physical Therapist

    ​Kim graduated from Upstate Medical Center with her Master’s Degree in physical therapy. She is also a graduate of Purchase College receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She danced professionally with American Ballet Theatre and specializes in injury prevention and treatment of dancers, gymnasts and athletes. Kim has advanced certifications in gait analysis and orthotic fabrication, selective functional movement assessment (SFMA), treatment of the spine (Mackenzie), soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), treatment of orthopedic injuries and manual techniques. When not treating, Kim enjoys tennis, fitness and dance.

  • Maria Commisso PT, DPT Physical Therapist

    Maria graduated from Ithaca College with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 after receiving her B.S. in Clinical Health Studies in 2017. She then worked at an outpatient orthopedic clinic near Boston, MA for 3 years. When living in Massachusetts, she enjoyed going to Red Sox games and attending a variety of concerts. Maria recently returned to New York State to be closer to her family and is excited to work with both the pediatric and adult population in Latham. When she's not at work, Maria enjoys spending time outside, finding local coffee shops, and learning new board games.

  • Josh LoGiudice PT, DPT Physical Therapist

    Josh graduated with his B.A. in Human Biology from SUNY Albany and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in December 2023 from Florida Southern College. Josh completed a clinical rotation with Thomas Nicolla Physical Therapy in 2023 and joined our team immediately after. Josh is passionate about working with both pediatric and orthopedic/sports population and finds his knowledge of each compliment the other.

    When Josh is not working, he enjoys any sports, coffee shops and spending time with his family and friends.

  • Carrie Giaimo, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

    Carrie graduated from SUNY Brockport with a BS in Exercise science and a minor in Biology. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in May 2024. Carrie danced competitively in the Capital Region from youth to the end high school and continued on through college. During her time at Brockport she got the opportunity to work with athletes through her internship as a personal trainer. Carrie found her passion of working with athletes, and grew to enjoy treating orthopedic and sports injuries. Outside the clinic Carrie enjoys being outdoors, exercising and spending time with her family, friends and 2 dogs.

  • Jennifer Coalts, Patient Care Coordinator

    Jennifer grew up in Ballston Spa and is thrilled to be a member of the Thomas Nicolla PT family. She brings over 15 years experience to her role and especially enjoys the bonds she easily forms with patients. When not at work, Jennifer is often with her family and spending time outdoors.
